President – High-Growth SaaS (Construction ERP)

About the Opportunity

SRA Staffing has been engaged to lead a confidential search for a President to lead a high-growth SaaS business in the construction ERP sector. This company has grown rapidly to ~$20M+ in revenue with 30–40% year-over-year growth and is positioned for continued expansion across North America and select international markets.

This is a pivotal leadership role for a bold, entrepreneurial executive with a proven record of scaling vertical SaaS businesses.


Position Overview

The President will lead the company across all strategic and operational dimensions, reporting to portfolio leadership. With full P&L accountability, this individual will drive growth, profitability, and organizational performance while building and guiding a strong executive team.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the company's growth strategy and annual operating plan.

  • Monitor performance against budgets and adjust direction as needed.

  • Identify and assess new market opportunities and risks.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Customer Success, and Services.

  • Drive organizational design and process improvement to support scale.

  • Ensure adoption of best practices for operational performance.

Financial Management

  • Deliver against revenue and profitability targets.

  • Make data-driven decisions and interpret P&L with fluency.

  • Oversee financial adherence, governance, and sustainable scaling.

Talent & Culture

  • Attract, retain, and develop senior leadership talent.

  • Foster a high-accountability, growth-focused culture.

  • Serve as a visible, hands-on leader across the business.

Technology & Innovation

  • Shape the long-term product and technology roadmap.

  • Champion customer-centric innovation across SaaS product lines.

  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term vision.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with employees, customers, and external partners.

  • Communicate consistently and transparently with all stakeholders.


Candidate Profile

Must-Have

  • Executive leadership experience in scaling high-growth SaaS (ERP/vertical SaaS ideal).

  • Strong commercial acumen (sales, GTM, and marketing leadership).

  • Demonstrated P&L ownership at the $10–50M+ level.

  • Based in the GTA/Toronto area with hybrid/onsite presence.

Preferred

  • Background in construction software, proptech, or ERP SaaS.

  • Experience leading international expansion (North America, Middle East, APAC).

  • Public-facing leadership experience (panels, conferences, industry representation).

Education

  • Degree in business/management/technology or equivalent experience.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive executive compensation package (~CAD $400K+ OTE, split between base and performance-based bonus/stock).

  • Hybrid model with flexibility, but regular onsite presence in Markham/Toronto required.
