At SRA, recruitment is more than filling roles—it’s about connecting the right people with the right opportunities and building relationships that last. Few embody this mindset better than Rishma Ahmed, one of our standout Account Managers, whose people-first approach and deep understanding of client needs have made her a trusted partner in every search.

In this spotlight, Rishma reflects on her journey, what sets SRA apart, and why recruitment—done right—is one of the most rewarding roles in business.

It feels like a team, not just a company.

Having worked with large enterprise clients before joining SRA, Rishma immediately noticed something different here.

“Coming from big enterprise clients and joining SRA, the main difference I’ve seen is the environment—it truly feels like a team. It’s a family,” she shares.

There’s a sense of clarity and cohesion across the board. Everyone knows their role, and more importantly, excels at it. The result? Clients not only get results—they trust the process.

“When I join meetings with my colleagues, I can see the respect clients have for them. They lean on our team for real insight and guidance. That speaks volumes.”

Tech-Driven, But Always Human

SRA’s recruitment processes are increasingly powered by AI, and Rishma sees firsthand how that’s changing the game.

“We’ve implemented tools that make recruitment seamless—from matching talent to automating steps in the hiring process. It’s faster, smarter, and more efficient than what I’d seen before.”

But while tech enables efficiency, it doesn’t replace the importance of conversation and context—especially when it comes to skill alignment and expectation management.

Perfect matches are rare. Great partnerships are built.

According to Rishma, one of the biggest challenges in today’s market is finding candidates who check every single box. Niche skills are still hard to come by, even in a crowded talent pool.

“Clients often come in with a very specific idea of who they’re looking for. But sometimes, that exact match isn’t out there—so we work together to find the closest fit and bridge the gap.”

She believes in creating honest, two-way conversations between clients and candidates.

“I always ensure both sides understand what’s missing, what’s negotiable, and where training can close the gap. It’s about setting realistic expectations and building trust.”

Building Talent Pipelines, Not Just Filling Jobs

At the core of Rishma’s role is pipeline building. Alongside a dedicated team of recruiters, she’s constantly sourcing, nurturing, and refining candidate pools—especially in hard-to-fill or fast-moving industries.

“We’re always looking at new ways to improve—new tools, new workflows, new strategies. What excites me is that we’re not reactive; we’re proactive about where talent is going.”

The Reward: Making a Difference in Someone’s Life

For Rishma, the most meaningful part of the job is helping people find roles where they can thrive.

“There’s nothing like the feeling of helping a candidate land a role they’ve been searching for. Especially when you know they’re going to do well. It’s incredibly rewarding.”

Clients trust her. Candidates rely on her. And at SRA, she’s helping redefine what great recruitment looks like—strategic, empathetic, and genuinely human.

“Recruitment is not just a transaction—it’s a relationship. It’s trust on both sides. And when we get that right, everybody wins.” — Rishma Ahmed
