Summary

The ERP Administrator is responsible to deliver support to end users in the organization in order to resolve issues and assist on how to use our ERP and Integrated Software programs efficiently in fulfilling business objectives.

This individual will troubleshoot applications and software for all internal customers such as Operations, and other business units. As well as assist in the design, delivery and improvement of the ERP and integrated software training programs and related courseware.

What you will be working on:

  • Assist users in resolving problems and answer questions with minimal supervision.
  • Interpret user’s problems over the phone and respond with solutions
  • Perform database inquiries and audit to verify system integrity
  • Respond to User Query and Issue handling; monitoring ticket systems, working user issues and closing requests in both the ERP and Integrated software such as PLM and PM Software
  • Customize and configure workflow to allow the integration of other applications
  • Test ERP and Integrated software to ensure the system is meeting the corporate needs.
  • Validate and test scenarios in our simulated Production & Dev environment
  • Create and maintain team documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Act as first point of contact to any ERP related issues or queries
  • Work with business sponsors, functional users, and IT management to prioritize issues.
  • Work with business users to troubleshoot and gather necessary issue details.
  • Conduct troubleshooting to determine if issues impact customizations or standard functionality
  • Log incidents at Help desk for issues and escalate issues as necessary
  • Monitor all issues associated with area of responsibility through issue resolution.
  • Review monthly updates from Vendor and identify the impact of customizations
  • Troubleshoot configuration settings and parameters
  • Understand and maintain configuration settings and parameters
  • Work with external support vendors to resolve issues that needs escalation or further investigation

Reporting Tools

  • Access control for Cognos reporting portal
  • Access Control for Tableau reporting portal
  • Troubleshoot (Level 1) reporting issues.

Administration and Change Request Management

  • Look at the ERP system jobs and queues and act accordingly if needed
  • Actively involved in change requests implementation all faces in ERP system
  • Support and coordinate change request requirements related to ERP improvement, enhancement or defects
  • Support as backup and work with finance department or Mont and year end processes
  • Security Administration of the ERP Systems

Communication

  • Interact with IT Teams, other departments and external contractors working on daily issues faced by the operation team and or ERP problems
  • Maintain communications between the company & ERP Consultants

Training

  • Perform user training in ERP System and conduct scheduled ERP Training as part of MevoUnviersity
  • Create notes and quick guide that help users to perform at their job effectively.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of support and technical experience in using ERP system(s).
  • Pronto Xi ERP is a MUST.
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, both written and orally.
  • Ability to relay technical information to non-technical users.
  • Customer Service and Problem-Solving skills.
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate information/data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment with conflicting and changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with SQL or ERP Data Query/Reporting tools and Programming knowledge is an asset. Knowledge / understanding of Pronto ERP software, PLM, and TMS systems is an asset.
