SRA Staffing

Solutions Engineer – Construction ERP (Bilingual French/English Required)

Remote, Canada | North America Focus with Select International Exposure

About the Opportunity

SRA Staffing is recruiting for a Solutions Engineer – Construction ERP on behalf of a growing software organization serving the construction industry.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role that will work closely with sales leadership and prospective customers to help translate complex business needs into clear, compelling software solutions. The position is especially attractive for someone who combines strong presentation ability with real credibility across construction, accounting, and operational workflows.

This opportunity is also notable because it represents a foundational hire for the business. As the first dedicated Solutions Engineer, this individual will have the chance to play a visible role in supporting revenue growth, influencing how the platform is positioned in the market, and helping shape the future of the function as the company continues to scale.

The organization has built strong momentum across North America and offers the pace and visibility of a growth-stage environment, supported by the stability and backing of a broader software ecosystem.

The Role

The Solutions Engineer will partner closely with Account Executives and sales leadership throughout the sales cycle, leading product demonstrations, supporting discovery, and helping prospective customers understand how the platform aligns to their financial and operational requirements.

This role is well suited to someone who can go beyond a scripted demo and confidently speak to how a modern construction ERP platform supports better visibility, stronger controls, improved efficiency, and more effective project financial management.

The successful candidate will be comfortable presenting to a range of stakeholders, including finance leaders, controllers, operations teams, project stakeholders, and executive decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

Product Demonstrations and Sales Support

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to prospect workflows, priorities, and stakeholder needs

  • Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to support discovery, solution positioning, and live demonstrations

  • Translate prospect pain points into clear platform alignment and business value

  • Prepare and manage demo environments using relevant customer scenarios or sample data

  • Support guided sandbox activity where appropriate

Workflow and Solution Credibility

  • Speak credibly to both accounting and operational workflows within construction environments

  • Help prospects understand how the platform supports job costing, WIP visibility, approvals, project financial tracking, and related business processes

  • Handle live workflow, process, and stakeholder questions during demos with confidence

  • Tailor presentations based on audience needs rather than relying solely on scripted demonstrations

Internal Collaboration and Market Support

  • Work closely with sales leadership and the broader commercial team to support consistent messaging and positioning

  • Maintain and improve demo materials, presentation content, and related sales assets

  • Share prospect feedback and market insights to support ongoing product and go-to-market refinement

  • Represent the business at selected trade shows, events, webinars, and partner-facing activities as needed

  • Maintain awareness of relevant market trends and competitor positioning within the construction ERP space

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, Solutions Consultant, Product Specialist, Implementation Consultant, or similar client-facing role

  • Experience with construction ERP, accounting software, or other workflow-heavy business applications

  • Strong product demonstration and presentation capability in a customer-facing sales environment

  • Ability to connect software functionality to real business outcomes and stakeholder priorities

  • Comfort engaging with finance stakeholders such as CFOs, controllers, and accounting leaders, as well as operations and project stakeholders

  • Practical understanding of workflows such as job costing, WIP, approvals, project financial tracking, and related accounting processes

  • Ability to adapt presentations and discussions based on stakeholder audience and deal context

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment

  • Bilingual French/English is required
