| Position Summary: |
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to lead the design, governance, and ongoing optimization of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) Product Configurator. In this role, you will own the end to end configurator lifecycle—from business requirements gathering and rule design to testing, deployment, and support, ensuring accurate, scalable configurations that drive quoting speed, pricing accuracy, manufacturability, and margin performance. You will partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to translate complex product logic into robust E1 configurations that produce correct BOMs/routings, prices, and order lines. |
| Responsibilities and Experience: |
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather business requirements; convert engineering/specs into rule sets and configuration structures.
- Design, build, and maintain configuration models (features/options, constraints, compatibility rules, assembly inclusion logic, pricing rules).
- Ensure generated configured BOMs/routings are accurate, producible, and costed correctly; align with manufacturing standards and item/branch plant data.
- Govern configurator changes via a structured process (intake, impact analysis, approvals, documentation, and release management).
- Partner with Sales Operations on pricing, discounts, and promotions within configuration logic.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing/Planning for MRP/DRP impacts, lead times, and capacity considerations.
- Streamline quote to order and engineer to order processes; reduce manual touch points and exception handling.
- Develop and execute test plans for configurator functionality, including unit and integration testing.
- Proficient in troubleshooting technical problems and developing a plan of action for resolution
- Coordinate quality assurance efforts by developing and executing test plans
- Provide Level 3 support for configuration issues affecting quoting, order entry, pricing, manufacturing, and cost/GL.
- Create user guides and training materials for configurator processes.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams.

| Education and Experience: |
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Engineering, or related field
- 8 – 10+ years of progressive experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, including Product Configurator ownership in manufacturing or configure to order (CTO) environments.
- Strong expertise in:
- Configuration model design (features/options, constraints, rules, compatibility).
- Configured BOM/routing generation and alignment with item master, work centers, and manufacturing processes.
- Pricing/discount structures and their interaction with sales order entry.
- End to end OTC/Manufacturing flows (Quote/Order → BOM/Routing → Work Order → Shipment → Invoice → Costing).
- Familiarity with JDE E1 Orchestrator/UDOs, AIS, and modern E1 extensibility tools.
- Proven skills in business analysis, quality assurance and implementation of Tier-One ERP applications
- Demonstrated experience leading cross functional initiatives and delivering measurable improvements in accuracy, speed, and margin.
- Background in discrete manufacturing (e.g., industrial equipment, building products, automotive, or electronics).
- Solid understanding of data governance, change management, and testing best practices Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- JDE/Oracle certifications are a plus.
