Duties & Responsibilities
The successful Resource will undertake the subsequent tasks and responsibilities, which include but are not limited to the following:
Overall project initiation, project planning, project execution, project performance monitoring,
and project close.
and subject matter experts;
Track vendor progress to statements of works;
Lead issue escalation process and develop mitigation strategies;
Manage organization change associated with project;
This position can be remote, including out of the Province, but a local resource is preferred.
Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements
The ideal Resource will have the following qualifications and have experience fulfilling the following job requirements;
Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent;
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation;
Has completed a large scale healthcare IT and/or security IT project within the last three (3)
years.
Desired Qualifications/Requirements
At least ten (10) years of relevant project management experience implementing large scale IT
security projects in a busy, multifaceted environment;
Possesses substantial understanding and awareness of IT security best practices and protocols;
Demonstrated capability in managing vendors and ensuring accountability to contracts;
Proven experience leading a substantial organizational change.
